COMMUNITY SURVEY RELEASED!

The Town of Truckee has initiated the process of updating the Town’s residential design standards. The goal of this process is to create standards that are easy to understand and reflect Truckee’s unique community character. Due to the implementation of recent State legislation, objective design standards are the only way to regulate the design of residential projects. Residential projects include single-family, multi-family (e.g., duplexes, townhomes, apartments), and mixed-use developments.

This community survey is the first step in our process to update the standards. Results from this survey will help inform the development of the standards. Your input is critical to ensuring the project is based in Truckee’s values and aesthetics. Eventually, the standards will be adopted into the Town’s regulatory documents.

The survey will be open until 11:45 PM on December 3, 2021.
